60/70/80/90/100 are all qualifers for the Harry Hall BE ACE Eventing championship @ Aintree 28th to 31st May 2026
Competitors will jump a course of 6-8 show jumps immediately followed by 8-10 simulated, knock-down cross country fences including a skinny and corner. The whole round will be timed and the winner will be the competitor with the lowest number of penalties. In the event of a tie the winner will be the one closest to the optimum time (Optimum time is calculated based on a speed of 350m per minute). Stop watches are NOT permitted.
You do NOT have to be a BE memeber to compete in any of the listed classes. Competitors who qualify for the Championships at Aintree will receive a Championships qualification email from the BE Office on receipt of the results at BE from the qualifying venues. Upon receipt of the qualification email competitors will have 14 days to become a member (minimum PAYG) of BE and horses registered with BE which is free, to retain their qualification. Failure to do this will result in the qualification being passed on.

First Aiders will be present
Classes split between junior (16 and under) and senior, please state on entry- please note that senior and junior results are amalgmated and the qualification criteria applied as a single class
PRIZES based on number of competitors, if 5 1st £35, if 10 2nd £20 , if 15 3rd £10 etc
Entries close 48hrs prior to competition (unless full)

SJ/XC- disobedience or knockdown 4 penalties, 2nd refusal 8 penalties, 3x refusals = elimination
TIMED, every commenced second under optimum time (5 second tolerance) = 0.4 penalities.
Fall of horse or rider, starting before the bell, retaking an obstacle already jumped, error of course or exceeding time limit will result in an elimination
THE JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL
If you are aiming for the BE championship please use your horses full passport name
