Indoor Working Hunter Show including STARS Qualifiers @ Appleton Grange

Low key event, particularly welcoming to those less experienced. This event is open to all - members and non-members alike. Lead reins are welcome and there are no age or height restrictions for any of the classes, however please be aware there are qualification criterion for STARS..

Appleton Grange Riding Club members can gain points, where eligible, towards qualifying for the STARS Championship Show to be held at Aintree from the  21st to 24th November 2024. For an explanation of how to qualify for the STARS Championships and eligibility, please download the Schedule.

To avoid queuing for jumping, we will be running the Working Hunter show as time slots.  

Times will be published on the Friday before the event both on here and on the Appleton Grange Riding Club Facebook page.

You may enter an additional class on the day, subject to availability and a £2 late entry surcharge. Please see the steward on the day to confirm.

Warm up will be in the outdoor arena and at your allocated time slot, please be ready to enter the indoor arena. You will then be invited to jump the course, after which boots can be removed. The judge will then ask you to perform your show. You will not be asked to strip the pony / horse.
