Jumping clinic with international show jumper Laura Kennedy

Following the announcement last week, and the subsequent updates from the Government and the British Equestrian Federation, restrictions on equine activity are starting to be lifted.
Currently there are still no plans for the resumption of any equine competitions (although plenty of online events are happening daily) we are all now able to actually ride and exercise (in England at least! Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland still have stronger restrictions in place at the moment).
As it stands today riders can restart tuition, although it is advised to be individual or in pairs, with an Instructor practicing full social distancing. Many equestrian centres and cross country venues are re-opening for schooling and arena hire- again with provisos on social distancing and the following of all recommended hygiene requirements.
At horsevents.co.uk after the massive cancellation of everything in March we have seen the restart of listed events for online entry, including cross country hire, arena hire, tuition and online virtual dressage events
An online entry system can help with getting you underway again as it facilitates the payment of entries, thus avoiding the need for cash or cheques (both known carriers of the Covid-19 virus), taking us closer to the cash-less utopia. Horsevents.co.uk can help whether you are a Riding Club, Pony Club, Freelance Trainer, Equestrian Centre or any other Equine Organiser. All event organisers can list events and use our online entry system for FREE.
Find out more how horsevents.co.uk can help you at horsevents.co.uk.
If you are a Club and wish to run Members Only events, we have that facility also- this could be useful for Member only tuition, annual fees, trips etc. Find out how we can help your club at horsevents.co.uk/ridingclub/.
We can now start looking forward to further equine activity and slowly, as the virus is controlled and restrictions are lifted, we can get back to enjoying and competing with our equine friends (both 2 and 4 legged).
