Short answer: No.

We have never forced competitors to preregister with the site before allowing them to enter competitions. It is just not in our philosophy. So you have, you can and you will also be able to pick an event, enter it, pay for your entry and not need to sign up.

However, should you wish to register there are some advantages.

• You will not have to enter all your details every time you make an entry
• You can view all your past entries in the Competitor Zone
• You can add/edit and manage your Horses so that when you enter you can just select a horse from the drop menu
• You can add events (both on and off horsevents) to your diary

You can be sure that whatever information you store in your Competitor Zone we will not store any financial details. These must be entered each time you pay for entry to maintain security levels.

If you decide to register, then just go directly to:

Enter your details and chosen password.

Please note that if you register with an email address that you have used previously for entering shows with us then during the registration process we will match those entries to you so you can see them in your entry history. If you previously entered with a different email address, then just contact us and we will be able to map those entries to your Account also.

Once registered you will be able to login at:horsevents.co.uk/cp/

And voila the Competitor Zone:

In here you can:

• edit your contact details
• change your password
• add and edit your horses
• manage your own diary by adding your own dates or ours to your personal diary
• view all your online entries

So, although the short answer is No, you might find it helpful and speedier to be registered. Either way it is entirely your choice.
