Unlike some online entry systems we do not force registration for competitors because, being competitors ourselves we know what a pain it is to remember yet another login for yet another online system, and having to pre register before even being able to look at what is on was a major No No. So you can land at the site, find an event that interests you, enter your horse details, enter your details and then make your payment. Ta da. In fact in 2021 93% of all entries were made by unregistered competitors.
You will receive an email confirmation for each entry you make so that is the first point of call. Other than that you can also check any event for your entry. On each event page you will see a "Check Online Now"- simply type in part of your name or your horse's name and search and we will see if we can find you in that event. Worst case you can always email us at diary@horsevents.co.uk and ask what entries you have made.
If you do register then you can create a stable of horses (including their relative association numbers) and a bank of riders, then when you enter these horses and riders will be available to select from. You will also have access to your whole entry history. You will also be able to bookmark online events into a personal diary- or add your own equine dates into that same diary.
If you use the same email address to register with, as you have used to make all previous entries, then the system is clever enough to match up your previous entries and display them in your history. If, however, you used a different email address then simply contact us at diary@horsevents.co.uk with the names of riders and horses and we can map those past entries to your account.
No! We started Horsevents with the belief that force registration was not the route for us and people vote with their feet (or their keyboard) and only 7% of 2021 entries being made by registered competitors is proof that it is not a requirement for our system. Obviously we are not wanting to prevent those that like a login and the advantages associated with saving horse and rider information and tracking their competition history in detail, so there will always be a Competitor Zone but we will not be forcing a sign up.
